Wise Water Regulations
Re-Affirmed by Board of Directors April 20, 2011
• A prohibition on outside water uses between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 6:00 p.m. everyday (the hours of greatest loss of evaporation)
• A prohibition on the excessive use of any outside watering, which results in runoff onto walks, driveways, streets, or any other surface not reasonably expected to benefit from the authorized use of water.
• Washing a vehicle is acceptable at any time of the day with the use of a shutoff nozzle.
Occurrences of non-compliance, reported to, or observed by a PID representative will be followed by a personally delivered or mailed written warning. Only ONE such warning will be issued. Second and subsequent violations, observed by a PID representative, will result in a personally delivered or mailed written notice of a wasteful use water charges in the amount of $2.54 per unit (2 x highest tiered rate)
