Press Release PARADISE IRRIGATION DISTRICT
The Paradise Irrigation District has renamed the District's "E" Water Supply Tank the "Claude R. Powers Tank" and will hold a dedication ceremony in honor of former Board member Claude R. Powers on Tuesday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m. at the tank site on Nunneley Road in Paradise. Recent improvements have been completed around the area of the water supply tank site, which include a newly constructed fencing project where the commemorative plaque is displayed. Claude Powers began his career with the District in 1975 as Superintendent of the District's Transmission & Distribution Department and following his retirement in 1992, he served on the Paradise Irrigation District Board of Directors until December 2005. This commemorative plaque is an acknowledgement of his contributions throughout his years of service. |
