A Quick Look at the Proposed Rate Changes

June 2011

• Conversion from Bi-Monthly Billing to Monthly Billing
• A 3% increase to the Service Charge
• Apply a tiered usage rate for Residential A Rate Customers and Business A Rate Customers.
• Residential Customers no longer billed for 2nd Dwellings on property, however Properties with 3 Dwellings and more will still be billed per Equivalent Dwelling Unit
• A 3% Increase for the first Tier usage, 10% increase for usage that falls in the 2nd Tier, and a 20% increase for all usage that falls in the 3rd Tier
• A New Rate for Residential Fire Service Connections

January 2012

• A 4% increase to the Monthly Service Charge
• A 4% increase to all water usage tiers

January 2013

• A 4% increase to the Monthly Service Charge
• A 4% increase to all water usage tiers
